The training course can be funded by Erasmus+ KA1 programme (staff mobility).

The course “Outdoor and wellbeing” consists of different workshops, focus groups, trekking tour, which are focused on personal development, wellbeing, health, interaction with others. Through this itinerary, educators, teachers, trainers can learn new methodologies which can be used with different target groups for health education and outdoor education.

The main aim of this course is to learn how to use trekking and outdoor techniques as innovative practices to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Teachers, educators,adult educators, trainers and staff. Organizations and interested institutions, NGOs, service providers.

DAY 1:

Introduction of CEIPES – meeting in CEIPES’ headquarter.

Introduction to the topic “Outdoor and wellbeing”.

How outdoor activities and relationship with nature have positive effects in the personal development of and healthy lifestyle.

Meeting with experts of trekking and outdoor activities. Q&A

DAY 2:

Practical session through outdoor activities in the surrounding of Palermo, in a mountain setting.

DAY 3:

Practical session through outdoor activities in the surrounding of Palermo, in a seaside setting.

Day 4:

Meting with associations that organize activities related with this topic at local level

Training evaluation and follow up

Since the training is based on trekking and outdoor activities, it is recommended to wear comfortable and suitable clothes.

The lenght and the contents of the programmes can be modified according to the needs, more details will be given to interested organizations. Certificate of attendance by CEIPES will be awarded. If within the Erasmus+ programme, an EUROPASS certificate of attendance and competence will be awarded.

The programme, on request and with an extracharge, may include Italian classes, cultural activities, organization of board and lodging.
