OMC – One More Chance 

The objectives of the project are the following:

• To implement positive sport experiences by integrating refugee-background young people into mainstream clubs
• To support sport organisations to offer suitable participation opportunities for refugees with the help of innovative educational approaches
• To increase the knowledge and evidence-base of working with minor refugees, the organisational challenges and needs, and identifying good practices
• To disseminate evidenced-based principles of good practice and project findings.
• To bring the project findings to the attention of sport organisations, politicians, and other policy makers concerned with refugee-background people as a tool of social inclusion practice and project findings.

• Exploring the key components for a sports-based intervention programme for refugees 
• Gathering information from experienced coaches, scholars and social graduates 
• Development of Online Learning Centre 

The project will produce the following results:

• Promoting a curricula for coaches and staff 
• Improved sense of belonging (social development); self-efficacy and self-esteem (personal development); Levels of Education and Employability; Overall Well-being; Reduction in conflict situations; Empowering girls
