POSITIVE PARENTING – The partners met for the final time in Skopje!

The last transnational meeting of the Positive Parenting (P+) project (2020-1-RO01-KA204-079951) took place on 29th and 30th September in Skopje, the capital of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The project, started on November 2020, is co-financed by the Erasmus plus programme KA202 – Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Strategic Partnerships for adult education programme. It has seen the international collaboration of 6 organizations from Romania, Spain, Czech Republic, Italy and The Republic of North Macedonia.

During the project lifetime, the Consortium worked to support parents and caregivers of children with ASD, by training them in the ABA methodology, as well as adult trainers.

To accomplish that, the partners developed innovative and non-formal material, starting from a curriculum with a theoretical structure on which base the following tools.

These following tools are:

  • The trainer manual, based on practical exercises and related theoretical lessons, which trainers can use to teach parents activities to perform with their children
  • The parent’s guide, inclusive of tips, guidelines and recommended activities.

Besides, the partners created interactive tools, such as an app (to support parents in the use of token economy and positive reinforcement with their children) and an E-learning platform to access material and transfer knowledge.

During the meeting, the partners discussed about material finalization and promotion, talking about the goals already reached and the new ones to follow. Partners also discussed about the E-learning platform, of which CEIPES is responsible.
