It was held in Marseille, France, from the 10th  to the 15th of June the training of the project “Lifelong Dancing –  Learning pathways about dance for Adult Educators”, which is a strategic partnership aimed at producing an innovative curricula for Adult Education, using dance targeted towards disadvantaged individuals.

The five organizations partners of the project have participated to the training with their representatives, that was coordinated by the local French partner Essevesse, a dance association very active in delivering learning paths through dance to different people with fewer opportunities.

The training lasted four intense days during which several methodologies and tools were tested, combining the complementary competences of the involved partners, that could apply their expertise in dance, psychology and non formal education.

The workshops defined during the training will be tested in each partner country from September 2019 to March 2020. In Italy CEIPES will test them with mixed groups of refugees and people with background origins, ASPAYM with mixed groups of people with disabilities, in Romania GAMMA Institute with people with psychological issues, in France Essevesse with LGBT target group and  in Bulgaria EUNI with people belonging to risk groups, such as representatives of minorities and teenage-mothers.

This phase of testing dance and movement sessions held with the relevant target groups  will offer conclusions about the efficiency of the proposed dance activities and will allow to improve and modify the curricula when needed.
