The first meeting of the project:  Breaking The Glass Ceiling For Women Administrators (BIG CEFA) took place the 28th of March 2018 in Aydin (Turkey). The project manager Fulvio Grassadonio from CEIPES attended this meeting.

This project is funded for 2 years by the European Commission, through Erasmus+ program (KA2, strategic partnership for the innovation in field of Adult Education).

BIG CEFA aims at decreasing the gender discrimination in public and private work contexts (in the fields of education and training), in order to overcome stereotypes and prejudices about female administrators and to make them achieve the same career opportunities of men. Indeed the main aim of this project is to break the “glass ceiling” that impedes women to fulfill their professional path.

BIG CEFA project will be implemented by a consortium composed by 7 partners from 5 different countries: From Turkey: Adan Menders University (the coordinator), the Directorate of Aydın Education Authority and the association Aydin kulturel gelisim dernegi; the partners from the other countries are: CEIPES from Italy;  Bragamob from Portugal; Amics de la Biblioteca de la Fonteta from Spain and Education Mobility Grid GbR from Germania.

The day after the meeting, a conference of presentation of the project  took place, in front of several administrators of the municipality of Aydin.
