CEIPES, as partner of the project has participated with two of its project managers: Musa Kirkar and Maria Martina Bonaffini.

The meeting was hosted in Munich (Germany) by the German coordinator “TUM” (Technical University of Munich), one of Europe’s most important university. Through the interdisciplinary organization, TUM offers several preventative measures and solutions for complex healthy problems for many target groups in modern society, a field with ever increasing relevance.

The other partners of the project, that participated to the meeting are:

OAC (Germany), Västerbotten Country Council (Sweden), The Umeå University (Sweden), The Västerbottens drottsforbund (Sweden), CRE.THI.DEV (Greece), Naturfreunde Kärnten (Austria), The University of Palermo (Italy).

The main aim of “OAC” is to create awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity for cancer patients and thus to effectively enhance the times of physical activity in those patients. The project will guarantee an easier access to facilitate the participation in oudoor sporting activities for the cancer patients and survivors, to benefit from positive health-related effects

The project outcomes will include also the creation of a network through different channels as social media and an European community, to share project news and encourage the participation in outdoor activities.

The KOM was an opportunity to get to know all the consortium partners, and to exchange ideas and opinions about the project.

The one-day meeting was articulated according to a clear agenda that was respected in every part.

After the introduction of the project, and the analysis of the goals, there was a presentation of each organization; also the administrative and budgetary parts has been revised.
A very important moment was the analysis of every intellectual output, which represent the main “core” of the project.

The Consortium finally agreed on the next partners meeting in Munich on April 2019.
