Promuovere e facilitare metodologie di educazione non formale sul tema dell’equità di genere e la decostruzione dei ruoli sociali basati sul genere: questo è l’obiettivo di GENDERation, un progetto di scambio giovanile promosso dall’associazione di Malaga TRANS, che coinvolge 7 paesi europei con diverse politiche di genere.
Ecco l’esperienza di Nicoletta, group leader del gruppo italiano, che partirà a fine Gennaio.
“Dal 2 al 5 Novembre 2017, ho partecipato , in qualità di group leader, all’APV svoltosi a Malaga nell’ambito dello Youth Exchange Erasmus+ “GENDERation”, che avrà luogo nella cittadina spagnola, dal 24 Gennaio al 2 Febbraio 2018, e vedrà come protagonisti giovani di età compresa tra i18 e i 30 anni provenienti da diversi Paesi europei (Italia, Francia, Spagna , Romania, Polonia, Macedonia e Grecia).
Tema del progetto sarà la differenza di genere e la promozione di differenti approcci interculturali volti all’inclusione sociale di genere.
Per me, questa è stata la prima esperienza come group leader nell’ambito di un progetto Erasmus+; e come tutte le prime esperienze che si fanno nella vita, non avevo idea di cosa avremmo fatto in questi due giorni di Apv.
Nei giorni precedenti la partenza, molte erano le aspettative, le curiosità, le paure e i dubbi che avevo nell’affrontare da sola quest’esperienza, ma appena sono arrivata lì, mi sono resa subito conto di come le paure e i dubbi fossero completamente inesistenti e di come, con il passare dei giorni, le mie aspettative e curiosità, riguardo il progetto, fossero state soddisfatte più di quanto mi aspettassi.
Da subito mi sono trovata in un’ ambiente molto accogliente e a mio agio con gli altri partecipanti, con i quali ho fatto subito amicizia.
Durante l’APV abbiamo programmato tutte le attività, le quali vedranno come protagonisti i 35 partecipanti, inoltre, è stato abbozzato l’infopack dello youth Exchange, grazie al quale mi è stato possibile avere informazioni utili riguardo gli aspetti logistici e organizzativi del progetto.
Durante l’APV abbiamo fatto anche un’escursione a “ El Caminito del Rey”: un percorso di 8 km, ad Ardales, vicino Malaga, considerato fino a poco tempo fa uno dei luoghi più pericolosi al mondo, ma oggi messo in sicurezza e reso accessibile ai visitatori, grazie a delle passerelle costruite su gole a oltre 100 metri d’altezza.
Questa per me è stata un’esperienza unica ed indimenticabile, non solo per il suggestivo fascino che tale percorso emana, ma anche perché, a mio avviso, è stato un’ulteriore momento di conoscenza utile alla coesione del gruppo.
Ringrazio l’associazione Ceipes che mi ha permesso di partecipare all’Apv e non vedo l’ora che sia Gennaio per poter rivivere insieme agli altri miei compagni questa fantastica avventura ed arricchire ancor di più il mio bagaglio culturale.”

To promote and facilitate non-formal education methodologies on the issue of gender equality and the deconstruction of gender-based social roles: this is the aim of GENDERation, a youth exchange project promoted by the Malaga TRANS association, which involves 7 European countries with different gender policies.
Here is the experience of Nicoletta, Group leader of the Italian group, who will start at the end of January.
“From 2nd to 5th November, I took part, as group leader, to an APV, which was held as part of the Youth Exchange Erasmus + “GENDERation”, which will take place in the Spanish town, from January 24 to 2 February 2018, and will involve young people aged between 18 and 30 coming from different European countries (Italy, France, Spain, Romania, Poland, Macedonia and Greece).
Topics of the project will be the gender issues and the promotion of different intercultural approaches to gender mainstreaming.
This was my first experience as group leader for an Erasmus+ project; as all the first experiences in life, I had no idea what we would do in these two days of Apv.
In the days before the departure, there were many expectations, curiosities, fears and doubts I had in dealing with this experience alone, but as soon as I got there, I immediately realized how fears and doubts were completely non-existent and how, as time went by, my expectations and curiosity about the project had been met more than I expected.
Immediately I found myself in a very friendly environment and at ease with the other participants, with whom I made friends right away.
During the APV we planned all the activities, which will feature the 35 participants and also was sketched infopack the youth of the Exchange, through which I was able to get information about the logistical and organizational aspects of the project.
We also did an excursion to “El Caminito del Rey”: an 8 km route to Ardales, near Malaga, considered until recently one of the most dangerous places in the world, but nowadays secured and made accessible to visitors, thanks to the walkways built on gorges to over 100 meters in height.
This for me was a unique and unforgettable experience, not only for the fascinating charm that emanates this path, but also because, in my opinion, was a further moment of knowledge useful to group cohesion.
I thank the Ceipes association that allowed me to participate in APV and I look forward to January being able to relive this fantastic adventure with my other companions and further enrich my cultural baggage”.
