Noemi e Fabrizio condividono con noi la loro esperienza, nell’ambito del Servizio Volontario Europeo, ad Aveiro (Portogallo), tramite il progetto “RAY Resilience Across Youth”, coordinato dal CEIPES.
“Sono quasi a metà del mio progetto Sve e non potrei esserne più entusiasta. Lavoro per il “Parque dos talentos”, luogo in cui gli studenti della scuola professionale di Aveiro possono fare un tirocinio ricco e completo, in linea con gli studi che, parallelamente, portano avanti (animazione socio-culturale). Questa organizzazione si occupa di animazione a più livelli, e in questo modo sto avendo la possibilità di cimentarmi nell’organizzazione di eventi musicali, teatrali e feste di intrattenimento, per grandi e piccoli. Mi sento davvero molto stimolata a tirar fuori il meglio di me, inoltre sto sfruttando questo tempo a disposizione per scoprire nuovi aspetti della mia persona. Il tutto è ben organizzato,l’ambiente lavorativo accogliente e attento. E’ una preziosa opportunità per conoscere tante persone stupende, visitare luoghi suggestivi e soprattutto imparare una nuova lingua dai toni decisi e musicali..un bagaglio personale impagabile. Consiglio a tutti di cogliere questa brillante occasione, è un grande regalo da sfruttare al meglio” (Noemi).
“Sono stato sorpreso da questa piccola città!
Sin dal primo giorno in cui sono arrivato, ho sentito la lontananza da casa e mi sentivo disorientato, ma grazie a questa esperienza, ho scoperto nuovi modi di pensare, diversi dai miei. Ho conosciuto diverse persone che mi hanno fatto sentire parte di un gruppo e mi hanno supportato nei momenti più difficili, per esempio nelle difficoltà con la lingua straniera. Ho preso parte ad un lavoro che riguarda l’ambiente: è stato impegnativo, ma mi sono sentito pronto per il compito che mi è stato assegnato. Sono molto grato per questa opportunità, grazie alla quale ho interagito con persone che mi hanno fatto crescere a livello professionale ma anche come persona”(Fabrizio).

Noemi and Fabrizio tells us about their experience as volunteers in the program of European Voluntary Service in Aveiro (Portugal), at the AEVA association, with “RAY Resilience Across Youth” project, coordinated by the CEIPES.
“I am almost halfway through my Sve project and I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about it. I work for the “Parque dos talentos”, which is a place where students of the professional school of Aveiro can attend a rich and complete internship, in accordance to their studying, which they carry out at the same time (social and cultural entertaining). This organization deals with entertaining at different levels. Here I have the possibility to experience directly the organization of musical and theatrical events, but also entertaining parties for adults and youths. I feel extremely stimulated to do my best, moreover I am spending this period discovering new aspects of myself. Everything is well-organized, the working environment is welcoming and careful. I am meeting a lot of amazing people, visiting suggestive places and first of all I am learning a new language that has a musical sound and a firm tone, a priceless enrichment. I suggest to everyone to take this brilliant opportunity, it is a big gift that should be used to the fullest” (Noemi).
“I’m surprised of this little town!
When I arrived on the first day, I felt lost, far from home and something disoriented, but thanks to this fantastic experience that you’re giving me, I’m discovering new ways of thinking, different from mine. I have met different people who have made me feel part of a team and supported me in the most difficult moments, like with some language issues, for example. Here I’ve worked in the field of environment, I have been very busy and prepared for the tasks I was asked for. Thanks to this project, I’ve interacted with people who have made me grow professionally, but also as a person” (Fabrizio).
