Anno nuovo, nuovi arrivi al CEIPES! I due primi tirocinanti del 2018 sono Daniel, dalla Spagna, e Myrto, dalla Grecia, e contribuiranno alla crescita dell’ associazione, mentre vivranno la loro esperienza di soggiorno e lavoro all’estero.
Daniel è un ragazzo spagnolo di 25 anni con una laurea in finanza e contabilità, conseguita presso l’Università di Siviglia, e un master online in servizi finanziari, bancari e assicurativi. È arrivato a Palermo tre settimane fa, grazie alla borsa di studio Elmer del governo provinciale di Cordoba, per svolgere uno stage di tre mesi presso il dipartimento Finanza ed Amministrazione del CEIPES.
La sua prima impressione è stata “molto positiva, perché la vita a Palermo è simile alla Spagna e i colleghi sono stati molto gentili fin dal primo momento”. Dalla sua permanenza, spera di “imparare la lingua, acquisire nuove competenze sul lavoro e incontrare molte persone”. Inoltre, Daniel ha dimostrato di conoscere ogni angolo della città, la sua cucina e viaggiare attraverso il resto del paese. “Penso che sarà una grande esperienza e molto utile per il futuro sia a livello personale che professionale”, ha affermato.
Myrto, è una studentessa greco-tedesca di 22 anni, che è venuta a Palermo per fare uno stage, per incrementare le sue conoscenze nell’ambito dei suoi studi in comunicazione e antropologia. È arrivata 2 settimane fa ed ha tanta voglia di scoprire cosa possono offrire il CEIPES e la città di Palermo. Finora Myrto “si sta godendo la vita multiculturale di Palermo, i nuovi incontri, il nuovo lavoro, il nuovo paesaggio”.
Myrto ha scelto il CEIPES “perché vorrei avere un’idea di come funziona una ONG impegnata in questioni sociali. In questo modo voglio mettere in pratica le conoscenze acquisite con i miei studi e ottenere un’esperienza più pratica “.
Circa le sue impressioni su Palermo afferma “è una città che può offrirti molte nuove esperienze e stimoli. È un mix di culture diverse, una città colorata con molto traffico e attività molto interessanti da fare. Inoltre, la Sicilia è un’isola meravigliosa e Palermo ti offre la possibilità di visitare molti posti bellissimi vicini ad essa “.

New year, new arrivals at CEIPES! The two first interns of 2018 are Daniel, from Spain, and Myrto, from Greece, and they will contribute to the growth of the association, while they will live their experience of living and working abroad.
Daniel is a 25-years-old Spaniard guy with a degree in finance and accounting from the University of Seville and an online Master’s degree in financial services, banking and insurance. He has arrived to Palermo three weeks ago, thanks to Elmer studentship from the provincial government of Cordoba, to carry out a internship of three months at the financial department of CEIPES.
His first impression has been “very positive, because life in Palermo is similar to Spain and colleagues have been very kind from the first moment”. From his stay, he hopes “to learn the language, acquire new skills at work and meet many people”. Moreover, Daniel has shown interest in knowing every corner of the city, its cuisine and to travel through the rest of the country. “I think it will be a great experience and very useful for the future both personally and professionally”, he said.
Myrto, is a 22-year-old Greek-German student, who have come to Palermo for an internship to increase her knowledge in her studies in communication and anthropology. She arrived 2 weeks ago and she has a great desire to find out what the CEIPES and the city of Palermo can offer. So far Myrto is “enjoying the multicultural life of Palermo, the new people, the new work , the new landscape”.
Myrto chose CEIPES “because I want to get an insight into how an NGO which is engaged in social issues works. In this way I want to apply the knowledge that I have formed my studies and to get a more practical experience”.
When you ask her about her thought about Palermo, she believe “it’s a city that can offer you a lot new experiences and stimulus. It’s a mix formed by different cultures, a colorful city with a lot of traffic and a lot interesting activities to do. Moreover, Sicily is a wonderful island and Palermo offers you the possibility to visit a lot of other beautiful places close to it”.
