ENGLISH VERSION BELOW Martedì e Mercoledì, 28 e 29 Dicembre, Ceipes e Federsid hanno ospitato il Kick Off Meeting che segna l’inizio di un nuovo ed entusiasmante progetto Erasmus Plus, Azione Chiave 2, Cooperazione per l’Innovazione e Scambio di Buone Pratiche. “Swing” (questo il nome del progetto che sta per Signs for Work Inclusion Gain) è incentrato sulla creazione di un dizionario nella lingua dei segni sulle terminologie specifiche in ambito professionale. L’obiettivo del progetto è quello di facilitare l’integrazione di persone con problemi di udito nel mondo del lavoro, di favorirne lo scambio con i colleghi udenti e di armonizzare gli strumenti di comunicazione nel posto di lavoro. Il partenariato è composto, oltre che da Ceipes e da Federsid (nel ruolo di coordinatore), dall’associazione Cetem (Spagna); dalla Friedrich-Alexander-Universitaet Erlangen Nuernberg (Germania) e dalla Fondazione Munka-Kör Alapítvány (Ungheria). Ciascun partner avrà il compito di concentrarsi su un ambito professionale specifico (tra arredamento, ristorazione e turismo) e quindi di sviluppare i dizionari secondo le terminologie appropriate in tali settori.
Oltre a rappresentare il primo momento di incontro, il Kick Off ha permesso di analizzare i vari passaggi del progetto, la divisione dei compiti e le prossime scadenze. Inoltre, al termine delle sessioni, sono state programmate visite di scambio di buone pratiche con alcuni stakeholders locali impegnati nell’ambito professionale e dell’integrazione sociale, quali l’Ente Nazionale Sordi di Palermo; l’Istituto Alberghiero “P. Piazza” e la “Sartoria Sociale”. Il prossimo incontro avverrà a Budapest, a Luglio 2018.
Tuesday and Wednesday, 28th and 29th December, Ceipes and Federsid organized the Kick off Meeting that launched the beginning of a new exciting Erasmus Plus project, KA2, Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Best Practices. “Swing” (this is the name of the project, standing for Signs for Work Inclusion Gain) aims to create a sign dictionary in the field of vocational training for people with hearing impairment. The wider objective of the project is to facilitate the integration of people with hearing problems, to improve the communication in the work-place and suppressing communication barriers. The Consortium is made up, beyond Ceipes and Federsid (as coordinator) by Cetem association (Spain); the Friedrich-Alexander-Universitaet Erlangen Nuernberg (Germany) and the Fondation Munka-Kör Alapítvány (Hungary). Each partner will focus on a specific professional field (including tourism; cooking and carpentry) and therefore they will develop the dictionaries of the specific terms in each sector.
Beyond representing the first meeting of the Consortium, the meeting allowed to get through the steps and passages of the project, the assignment of the tasks and intellectual outputs and schedule of the next deadlines. Moreover, at the end of the morning and afternoon sessions, some visits have been organized to local stakeholders (such as the National Association of Deaf People; the Vocational School “P.Piazza” and the “Social Tailoring Shop”) working for the social and professional integration of people with special needs.
