INCAI – The Artificial Intelligence arrived in Stockholm

The INCAI (2020-1-UK01-KA204-079191) project explore Artificial Intelligence (AI) practices that are used to develop social inclusion

On 12 to 14 September 2022 was held the 4th Transnational Meeting of the project, the great collaboration of the partenship of Incai continue, this time on the beautiful city of Stockholm in Sweden. Host of the TM was Value Hub. Thanks to the great organization we had the possibility to explore different point of view regarding artificial intelligence.

We explored the AI from a technical side, talking with the tech expert of the consortium to understand what the problem on the construction of the AI instruments are, from the necessity to have access to a big amount of data and the difficulty to have a clear view of the need of the final target.

For this was crucial the reflection on the need to move from a data driven approach to a value driven approach, in order to avoid bias and problem that appeared from an extensive use of data.

We had the opportunity to think about the benefits and the weak point of an always more diffuse use of artificial intelligence in different context, making a reflection on how the AI can be used in different work context, trying to make examples regarding our daily life and jobs in our organizations.

The meeting was also a moment for sharing and make confrontation between the real needs and fear that people have regarding the artificial intelligence.

We also had the possibility to discuss about the next meetings and the action that have to be done for a good continuation of the project, the next appointment is in December at Dublin where we will focus more on the theme of social inclusion.
