INCAI – Discovering new Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Krakow

INCAI (2020-1-UK01-KA204-079191) is a project that explore Artificial Intelligence Practices in the field of social inclusion for disadvantaged learners.

During the project meetings we had the opportunity to learn about good practices in the field of artificial intelligence, formation, and social inclusion. Thanks to the great hosting of the association Orange Hill we had a great and meaningful experience on the third transnational meeting in Krakow.

Krakow is a living city were the use of technology for innovative solution is growing up a lot, we started our meeting visiting the offices of State Street Bank where they presented their plan and projects for equity and global inclusion and their technological instrument for EDI (equality, diversity and Inclusion).

Then we visited the Astor Innovation Room, a showroom proposed from Astor that use artificial intelligence as a system of control and automatization of industries 4.0.

On the next day, at Krakow Technology park we discovered their brilliant ecosystem in which startups born and grow daily with impressive results, than we received some information about blockchains and AI use in business. We also visited their server farm and the Centre “Solaris”, where is located a synchrotron, a machine that produce intense beam of light and used for research aim.

On the last day we visited the Multicultural Centre Kraków, where they explained to us their activity and efforts to the inclusion of the refugee from Ucraine.

It was surely a deep and meaningful experience that bring more value to our knowledge and give us new idea and knowledges that we can use for our jobs and future project.
