G.A.M.E. – The LTTA in Pilsen. Power up the #gameducation!

The LTTA of the G.A.M.E. project took place from 16 to 20 March in Plzen, Czech Republic.

The project (2019-1-C701-KA201-061221) involved partners from four countries: Italy, Spain, Turkey, and the Czech Republic.

The project aims to create games for educational purposes to be implemented in schools. The activities took place over a week, during which the participants first attended workshops on gamification, and then created a game from scratch in teams.

The division into teams allowed us to interface with students and teachers from different cultures, creating a welcoming, dynamic, and multicultural atmosphere. The workshops were alternated with other outdoor activities, including a visit to a vocational nursing school, the local brewery and the Museum of Science and Technology. These interactive and fun experiences allowed us to discover the culture of the host country.

On the last day of activities, the participants presented their game to the other partners and a winner was designated.

However, the other games were also particularly appreciated. It was a very intense and educational experience. All the participants were enthusiastic about the activities and the relationships established with the partners.
