From the 1st to 5th October 2018 the project E3D+VET was presented at the Conference on Physics Education (ICPE) that took place in Johannesburg, South Africa.

This opportunity was a great occasion to disseminate the goal of the project around the world.

E3D+VET is a project involving six partners from different European countries: CEIPES (Italy), CETEM (Spain), STP (Slovenia), Pristálica (Spain), KIT (Germany) and SEMKA (Germany), funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 (Strategic Partnerships for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices).

The main purpose of the project is to train teachers by focusing on the acquisition of CAD modeling and 3D printing skills, including them in traditional teaching. The use of this technology in secondary schools will also improve students’ transversal educational skills.

The consortium of partners had the possibility to participate at the ICPE conference thanks the efforts the professor Nicola Pizzolato, that took part into the project as representative of “Pio La Torre” School, associated Italian partner of the consortium E3D+VET.

During the conference was presented the project in all its aspect and above all the relation between 3 important fields: 3d printing technology, physic and education.

The conference attracts people from all over the world especially the target group interested in Physic and innovation.

Thanks to this fantastic opportunity the consortium of partners had the possibility to write a scientific paper that was accepted and published.

We are glad to share it with all of you.
