CEIPES had the pleasure to host in its facility in Palermo, from the 16th of May to the 18th of May 2022, the Training of Facilitators of the DIME project (963161-DIME-REC-RDIS-DISC-AG-2020).

It was a key moment for the project, which main aim is to awareness raising regarding the new concept of diversity management aims to create a space of inclusion inside the SMEs and NGOs to avoid any types of discrimination.

The training was an occasion to present and combine the different contents that characterised the modules of the online training as well as put into practice several exercises corresponding to the modules. The main added value was the fruitful and continuous exchange from the participants who come from different national realities as: Sweden, Italy, Bulgaria and Finland. 

For 3 days, the participants had the possibility to increase their knowledge about diversity management. Firstly, the overall structure of the e-learning platform was presented. Secondly, the consortium entered the heart of the activities by analysing the different phases necessary to develop and implement a diversity management policy in an enterprise, understanding how to promote intercultural communication, investigate, develop a diversity management plan, take measures, monitor and evaluate. 

The event was a success, a moment of inspiration for future project activities, in which all the partners find a place of discussion, having the chance to ameliorate in this exchange of opinions.
