CITIES WITH STORIES –  Who is going to win?

On the threshold of the final part, it has been held in Palermo the last transnational meeting that highlights the path to the conclusion of the project CITIES WITH STORIES (TR2016/DG/03/A2-03).

The meeting focused on compering the implemented trainings between the two countries through the curriculum and methods applied. Although few differences emerged (mostly caused by Covid-19 related restrictions), both experiences brought to light the interest and commitment of students and teachers to learn more about cultural heritage and, most of all, about storytelling techniques and tools.

As result of the training, the partners examined few of the stories realised to check the overall quality, the application of the techniques, the elements of cultural heritage, and so on. Furthermore, the consortium discussed about the evaluation process, which kind of objective (e.g., structure, technical quality) and subjective (e.g., uniqueness, creativity, interpretation) aspects take into consideration. It followed the technical process of creating the student profiles on the platform that will host the stories and how embed the multimedia material.

Last but not least, the project leader (Eyüp Sultan Culture Arts Sports Education and Solidarity Association) explained the Award ceremony planning and details. It is going to be host in Istanbul, in the occasion of the National Sovereignty and Children’s Day the 23rd of April.
