CITIES WITH STORIES – Istanbul celebrates the winners

With enormous pride and satisfaction, 3 students from Palermo and 3 from Istanbul have been announced winners for the best historical cultural heritage storytelling as part of the Cities With Stories project (TR2016/DG/03/A2-03).

The final award took place in the occasion of the National Sovereignty and Children’s Day 2022 in Turkey, which allowed the participants to experience a live cultural celebration with traditional shows and innovative didactic project exposed along schools stands.

To this event, also relevant political figure participated giving their congratulations and welcoming to everyone there. It was a great honor to attend the celebration, the cherishing speeches, and how important this kind of projects are perceived. It showed the powerfulness of culture and openness, the brotherhood between the eyes of children of these two countries.

Lastly, the amazing cultural vibrant influences shaping of one of the most iconic cities in the world have catch the heart of the young participants and their families. Most of all, that showed the best result that the project could give – making friends, falling in love with new culture and people, sharing experience and stories.
