Is it possible to use dance as a tool for promotion of well-being, of empowerment and of self- esteem empowerment and self-awareness in youths?
The project “ Love, life and dance” aims to the creation of tools and methodologies to adopt in the field of non-formal education and youth working, related to dance and other expressive arts.
The project therefore, wants to constitute a link between youth working and expressive arts giving youth organisations, and all other organizations that work with youths, innovative methodologies that facilitate the reaching of new objectives.
Results that will be realized in these two years of implementation of the project, will be the following ones:
1) a toolkit to promote, through dance and other expressive techniques, well-being, self-efficacy, capacity of socialization and social inclusion. This tool will address to everyone who work in the field of youth working ( independently form their educational background) and in the field of dance and expressive arts but also to everyone who adopts these arts in social field ( such as dance-movement therapy) with the aim of getting to know methodologies used by other therapists from every part of Europe;
2) a festival about dance, arts therapies and youth working that will take place in May 2019 in Italy, Romania and Spain that, a part from being a multiplier event, will promote tools such as dance- movement therapy among youths.
The project will be presented on 24th November in Palermo at the Palermo Youth Centre from 17.00 p.m.

Moreover, from 13th to 16th November 2017, the consortium met in Iasi in order to discuss about the kick-off of the activities and about the creation of the path to reach the objectives ( see picture).
