BioS4You project is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme, KA201 – Strategic Partnerships for school education and it involve 5 partners from different countries: Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (Germany), CEIPES – Centro Internazionale per la promozione dell’educazione e lo sviluppo (Italy), Unipa – Università degli studi di Palermo (Italy), ADYMEM – Adıyaman Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü (Turkey), KTU – Kaunas University of technology (Lithuania).

BioS4You aims to engage European young learners in STEM subjects, starting from current issues of interest for them, as the social and environmental impact of new technologies (Biosciences, Bioengineering, Bio-Architecture, Biotechnology, Bio-Photonics, etc.) with the purpose of opening their minds, and achieving higher competencies.

On October 22, 2020, Bios4You partners met for the 2nd TM. 

The meeting was held online due to COVID restrictions and the partners followed a clear agenda that focused on a few main objectives:

  • IO1/IO2 (Development activities review)
  • IO3- A1: State of the report of the results collected by partners
  • IO3-A2: Pedagogical requirements for the BioS4You educational material 
  • Timesheets for the next period
  • Quality and Risk Management
  • Project Management and Financial Issues
  • Information Promotion and Dissemination
  • Next steps

The meeting was a success and a great occasion for all the partners to reinforce their partnership as they benefit from good organization and meticulous preparation.

The partners’ extensive background knowledge in fact, enables them to deliver the best results as they are currently working on preparing the pedagogical requirements and the learning units to soon start the online course that will be delivered on a ready with free access platform.

The next meeting will be held online on December 10, 2020.
