ALLVIEW – The project is ongoing!

On the 9th and 10th May the consortium of ALLVIEW – Alliance of Centres of Vocational Excellence in the Furniture and Wood Sector (project number: 621192-EPP-1-2020-1-ES-EPPKA3-VET-COVE) project met in Amsterdam at HMC college for the 5th Transnational meeting. 

During the two days partner have carried on a lot of different activities based on the work packages of the project.  All the activities were conducted thanks to a workshop modality. Each work package leader in a first moment update the consortium regarding the steps already took and after that divided in groups partners have the possibility to work on the deliverables. The methodologies used were different: brainstorming, realization of creative moldboard, experimentation with virtual reality and 3D printing, non-formal activities and so on…

Partners had the opportunity to share opinions, experiences and knowledge.  

Also, a part was dedicated to the financial issue and to the mobilities part that will see teachers and students from different part of Europe participating in training sessions that will start in the upcoming months. 

ALLVIEW  is a project implemented under the Erasmus+ programme KA3 – Support for policy reform. The project is carried out thanks to the cooperation of 24 partners from different European countries, backgrounds, and expertise.  

Allview project focuses the attention on the role that centers of professional excellence have in EU VET policy, a topic which today is becoming of particular importance. In particular the project focuses on VET centers of excellence in 2 specific sectors, namely: furniture and wood. Within these two sectors, EU VET schools seek to implement effective laboratory activities for the training of their students through the use of “traditional methods” of wood and furniture manufacturing.  

During the meeting also HMC college gave the opportunity to visit their laboratories and to present their best practices at local level. It was an opportunity to know better the school and to have opinion about the Wood and furniture sectors from students and teachers who are studying and teaching in the two fields.

Also, was important the involvement of two different stakeholder: CBM presentation on Wood & Furniture sector and circular economy situation in the Netherlands and Katapult workshop. 

They gave information regarding the topics of ALLVIEW project and also regarding the CoVE world. 

Partner will meet again in Bordeaux in France.
