On April 21, 2021, the meeting of the ACPD – Access to Caretaking Professions for Deaf (2019-1-DE02-KA202-006568) project was held in virtual mode.
The meeting was hosted by Bulgarian partner BDA, who invited Mr. Daniel Stefanov, an expert on educating deaf people for caretaking professions in social work.
Mr. Daniel focused in his presentation on the topic of education of deaf people for social professions. He talked about the economic, social and relational difficulties that characterize this path in Bulgaria.
The meeting was also an opportunity to review the threads of the project also in the aspect of management, which ends in April 2021. In addition to the exchange of best practices, the project partnership will produce a collection of data, analyzed through the dissemination of a questionnaire and a research phase.
