Sono circa le 13:00h quando metto per la mia prima volta piede a Weimar, la giornata è un po’ grigia, un po’ fredda, e uscito dalla stazione inizio subito a respirare l´atmosfera di quella che sembra una tranquilla e ordinata cittadina, quasi come un nostro capoluogo di provincia ma nella sua versione nordica. Mi guardo intorno, e sento come silenziosamente la città inizia a trasmettermi qualcosa. Non so se sia la storicità che la caratterizza o quella sensazione di pace che ti trasmette, ma impiego pochi istanti per rendermi conto del fantastico posto in cui mi trovo.
Arrivo alla location e pronti, via! Si parte con l´advanced visit planning, in questi 3 giorni cercheremo di organizzare al meglio quello che si prospetta essere un bellissimo scambio giovanile. I group leader da vari paesi europei iniziano ad arrivare, ci incontriamo, iniziamo a parlare e a scambiare le prime battute, e c´ è una cosa che accomuna tutti, ma proprio tutti, la voglia di fare di questo Summer Camp uno di quei momenti che ricorderai per tutta la tua vita.
What is the Good Life? Questo è quello che cercheremo di capire nello scambio giovanile di Agosto insieme a 60 giovani provenienti da 10 diversi paesi europei. Workshop, escursioni e giochi di ruolo saranno il punto principale di questo Summer Camp. E poi, di certo non mancheranno serate in allegria e camp fire, in un clima divertente e del tutto internazionale, insomma, non avrebbe potuto esserci inizio migliore!

It is about 1:00 pm when for the first time I set foot to Weimar, the day is a little cloudy, a little cold, and out of the station I start to breathe the atmosphere of what like a quiet and orderly town, almost as our provincial city but in its Nordic version. I look around, and I feel how silently the city starts to let me fell something. Perhaps it is the historicity of it or the feeling of peace that it transmits to you, but I have taken a few moments to realize the amazing place where I am.
Arriving at the location, ready, away! We start with the advanced visit planning; in these three days, we will try organize in the best possible way what that promises to be a beautiful youth exchange. Group leaders from different European countries are beginning to arrive, we meet, we start talking and exchanging the first words, and there is one thing that everyone shares, the desire to make of this Summer Camp one of those moments you will remember for all your life.
What is the good life? This is what we will try to understand in the youth exchange of August together with 60 young people from 10 different European countries. Workshops, excursions and role-plays will be the main point of this Summer Camp. Then, of course, will not miss funny evenings and campfire, in a fun atmosphere and very international, in short, could not be a better start.
