***ENGLISH VERSION***

Thanks to Salvo, Stefania and Marco for sharing with us their experience!

Name and type of project: Media fun, youth exchange
Period: 25 March – 3 April 2017
Coordinator: IAIRS – Institute of Animation and Social Development (Poland)
Partners: CEIPES (Italy), A.D.E.L. (Slovakia), ANAZITISI (Greece), Grupo de Jovens Novo Mundo (Portugal),

It happens too often that to travel is confused with just moving in some other place. Every day someone tell about the travels that they have done showing us pictures of amazing place, waterfall, churches, a lot of different monuments. But too often it seems like they just moved somewhere, they have seen some place e took some pictures that after they put on the memory of their computer will not be remembered anymore.A travel, let me have the presumption to shoot some judgment, should be one of that experience that even in small part change your life. In my life i traveled and sadly, sometimes, i also just moved. The difference is all in what we learn. The travel should be, first of all, an educational experience, regardless of how much it is formal or fun. For this, now, when i travel, i’m not happy if I don’t know someone of the place, if i don’t learn which are the best way to spend my night and afternoon in that place, if I don’t taste some typical food, if I don’t learn a little of the language or about the use of the place I visited.

This time was the turn of Poland, thanks to the Ceipes and the project Media Fun organized by the Institute of Animation and Social Development.

The idea is to increase our knowledge and technical skills thanks to the international collaboration. Improve our social skill and our creative thinking and in the same time put into practice some technical skills about writing, photography and video making.

From 25 of march till 3 of April we have spent wonderful day in Bialka Tartzanska, a place that probably you are hearing now for the first time, unless you are ski enthusiasts, but believe me if I say that is a splendid country in the mountain, with that mix of countryside, snow and quiet that is good for your lungs and your soul.

The encounter between cultures was not only with the kind polish guys, but with us were other three countries: Greece, Portugal and Slovakia that thanks to this cohabitation and the intercultural evening organized from everyone of us we had the possibilities of give and take some piece of his own culture. In these days we participated at different Workshop about the different arguments of this project, organized from the different country group that in this way had the possibility to share the knowledge that each one has. In addition to this we could treasure a list of contacts, and share a net that add piece of culture which every word we use.

Coming back home, i can say proudly that i have been in Poland, but in the same time I catch a piece of Portugal, Greece and Slovakia. For this the invitation is to stop just moving and starting to know, learn, be curious and in the and travel, maybe thanks to one of the next Ceipes project!
